Baked Pizza Sammies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 slices Sara Lee® White Made with Whole Grain Bread
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup marinara
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella
  • 18-20 pepperoni slices
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano

Directions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 425˚F.
  2. 2. Spread butter on one side of 6 slices of bread and place face down on a baking sheet. Add marinara, shredded cheese, pepperoni and oregano. Add the remaining 6 slices of bread and brush the tops with melted butter.
  3. 3. Bake for about 4 minutes and flip and cook another 2-3 minutes or until desired toastiness. Serve with side of marinara.
