The G.O.A.T. Chicken Sandwich by Hen House Eatery Restaurant

Ingredients

  • 1 Sara Lee® Artesano® Bakery Bun
  • 1 5-8 oz. chicken breast
  • 2 oz. Cajun seasoning
  • 1 oz. BBQ sauce
  • 1 slice of red onion
  • 2 slices of Pepper Jack cheese
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Mayonnaise

Directions

  1. Toss chicken breast in Cajun seasoning in a bowl.
  2. Toast the bun in a pan. Set aside for sandwich assembly.
  3. Cook the bacon until done. Set aside for sandwich assembly.
  4. Pan grill the chicken breast on medium heat until cooked through.
  5. In the pan, place cooked bacon on top of the cooked chicken breast, then melt the pepper jack cheese on top. Place BBQ sauce on top of melted cheese.
  6. While the chicken is cooking, spread mayonnaise on the top of the bun. On the bottom bun place lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
  7. Remove chicken from the pan and set on the bottom bun on top of the lettuce, tomato and red onion. Place the mayonnaise-spread bun lid on top of melted cheese.
  8. Enjoy!
