Tuscan Turkey Sandwich Recipe
Inspired by Italy’s Tuscany region, this flavorful sandwich will turn lunchtime into a European dream.
- 2 slices Sara Lee® Soft & Smooth® 100% Whole Wheat Bread
- 1½ oz of lower sodium oven-roasted turkey breast
- 1½ tsp fat-free mayonnaise
- 1 tsp prepared pesto
- ½ slice of Provolone cheese
- 2-3 vine-ripened tomatoes, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Mix mayonnaise and pesto in a small bowl until light green. Cut the bread in half and spread the pesto mayonnaise on one side of the bread. Add turkey, basil leaves, cheese and tomato. Top with second half slice of bread.
