Gobbler Melt Recipe
Thanksgiving leftovers get the Sara Lee® treatment.
- 2 slices Sara Lee® Made with Whole Grain White Bread
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 slices American cheese
- 2 slices turkey
- 2 slices tomato
- 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 1. Spread ½ tablespoon of mayonnaise on 1 side of 1 slice of bread and place mayonnaise-side down in a medium skillet. Layer with 1 slice of cheese, turkey, tomato and cranberry sauce. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and top with remaining slice of cheese.
- 2. Spread remaining mayonnaise onto 1 side of remaining bread slice and place, mayonnaise-side up, atop the turkey and tomato. Cook sandwich over medium heat until cheese melts and the bread is golden brown, about 2½ minutes per side.
