Ham & Cheese Sushi Rolls Recipe
Looks like sushi, tastes like ham and cheese! Wow your kids with this fun lunch prep.
- 2 slices Sara Lee® White Made with Whole Grain Bread
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 slices ham
- 2 slices Cheddar cheese
- 2 pickle spears
- 1. Trim crusts from each slice of bread. Use rolling pin to flatten slices. Spread a thin layer of mayo on each slice, then top each with 1 slice ham and cheese. Lay 1 pickle spear at the base of each open face sandwich, and roll the bread up and over the pickle spear.
- 2. Use mayo to help the roll stay closed or try pinching the bread together. Cut roll in half or thirds depending on how deep your bento box is.
- 3. As a finishing touch, you can add a drop of mayo on top of each roll to resemble sushi.
