Pizza Pockets 3 Ways Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 loaf Sara Lee® Butter Bread
- 3 Cheese Pizza Pocket:
- ¼ cup marinara sauce
- ¼ cup shredded Mozzarella
- ¼ cup shredded Cheddar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan
- Meat Lovers Pizza Pocket:
- ¼ cup marinara sauce
- ½ cup shredded Mozzarella
- 9 pepperoni slices
- ¼ cup ground sausage
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Veggie Pizza Pocket:
- ¼ cup Ricotta
- ½ cup sautéed spinach
- ½ cup sautéed mushrooms
- ¼ cup Mozzarella
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350˚F. Slice the crust off each slice of bread, roll flat with rolling pin, and set aside.
- 2. For 3 Cheese: Place 3 slices of bread on a nonstick baking tray and spread a tablespoon of marinara on each. Layer with Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese. Place a second slice of bread on top and pinch edges together using a fork. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- 3. For Meat Lovers: Place 3 slices of bread on a nonstick baking tray and spread a tablespoon of marinara on each. Layer with Mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, and a little more Mozzarella. Place a second slice of bread on top and pinch edges together using a fork. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- 4. For Veggie: Place 3 slices of bread on a nonstick baking tray. Layer each bread slice with Ricotta, sautéed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and Mozzarella. Top with second slice of bread and pinch edges together using a fork. Mix together garlic and melted butter and brush on top. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
