Avocado & Pepper Jack Bison Burger Recipe
Give your burger a delicious upgrade with ground bison and Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bakery Buns.
- 1 Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bakery Bun
- ¼ pound ground bison
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 butter lettuce leaf
- 2 slices tomato
- 1 slice Pepper Jack cheese
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 2 tablespoons herbed mayonnaise
- 1. Heat grill to medium. Season ground bison with salt and pepper and shape into a patty. Grill to desired doneness (approximately 6-7 minutes per side for medium).
- 2. Build burger. Layer lettuce and tomato on bun bottom. Top with grilled burger, cheese and avocado. Spread herbed mayonnaise on bun lid before capping burger. Enjoy!
