Chili & Zesty Croutons Recipe

Nothing warms you up on a cold winter day like this bowl of Zesty Croutons & Chili made with Sara Lee Artesano Bread.

  • 6 slices Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bakery Bread
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil, chopped
  • 1 cup chili
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream


  1. 1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Slice bread into cubes and place on baking sheet. Bake about 2 minutes and remove. Once cool, place into a large bowl. In a smaller bowl, combine olive oil, Sriracha, salt, pepper, garlic, oregano and basil. Mix until combined.
  2. 2. Drizzle mixture over bread and toss to evenly coat all bread cubes. Place back on the baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Remove, add to a bowl of chili, and enjoy!
