Keto Friendly Breakfast Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Sara Lee® Delightful® White Made with Whole Grain Bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 large or 2 small turkey sausage patties
  • 1 slice Cheddar cheese
  • ½ avocado, smashed
  • Salt and pepper, as desired

Directions

Toast both slices of bread and set aside.
In a small nonstick pan over medium heat, melt butter. Crack egg into pan and cook for 3 minutes, or until egg white is completely set. Remove egg from pan and season with salt and pepper. In the same pan, heat the turkey sausage until warmed. Remove from heat.
On 1 slice of bread, place cheese slice. Spread smashed avocado on top of cheese. Layer on turkey sausage and fried egg. Place second slice of bread on top and enjoy!
