Keto Friendly Breakfast Sandwich Recipe

  • 2 slices Sara Lee® Delightful® White Made with Whole Grain Bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 large or 2 small turkey sausage patties
  • 1 slice Cheddar cheese
  • ½ avocado, smashed
  • Salt and pepper, as desired


  1. Toast both slices of bread and set aside.
  2. In a small nonstick pan over medium heat, melt butter. Crack egg into pan and cook for 3 minutes, or until egg white is completely set. Remove egg from pan and season with salt and pepper. In the same pan, heat the turkey sausage until warmed. Remove from heat.
  3. On 1 slice of bread, place cheese slice. Spread smashed avocado on top of cheese. Layer on turkey sausage and fried egg. Place second slice of bread on top and enjoy!
