Surf & Turf Burger Recipe

Turn a steakhouse favorite into an any-night-of-the-week gourmet burger on Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bakery Buns.

  • 4 Sara Lee® Artesano™ Bakery Buns
  • 4 sirloin beef patties
  • ¼ cup steak seasoning, divided in half
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 12 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Garlic aioli
  • Arugula


  1. To assemble the burgers, spread about a tablespoon of garlic aioli on each bottom bun. Layer on a small handful of arugula, a burger patty with cheese, a couple shrimp and more arugula. Spread another tablespoon of garlic aioli on the underside of bun lids before topping each burger.
